For many years, CB Cares hosted an MLK Day of Service that provided great opportunities for service projects in Central Bucks County. As we are an organization that is not led by a person of color, our forward action for MLK Day will be to directly support and uplift organizations that are. We will stay invested in Service Projects, but will be directly supporting organizations like The Bucks County Anti-Racism Coalition (https://www.facebook.com/groups/buxcoarc) .
The BC Cares Parent Positive Speaker Series had a fantastic limited engagement event in Newtown, PA in 2024. We are always looking for organizations that are interested in hosting /presenting PP events. Contact acrowell@bc-cares.org with interest!
