Innovative Learning Grants

Elevating the possibilities for Bucks County Teachers & Staff

Innovative Learning Grants have been an important part of our efforts over the years. We will begin considering submissions for the 25-26 school year at our September Board of Directors meeting. Please submit LOI to acrowell@bc-cares.org by September 1, 2025. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • Must be a current teacher or support staff for a school in Bucks County, PA
  • LOI should provide concise objectives for the grant proposed with budget details
  • Grant proposal should be aligned with the Core Values and Pillars of BC Cares: https://bc-cares.org/who-we-are

After submitting an LOI, it will be reviewed. Those that are approved will be invited to submit a detailed budget and timeline proposal including the endorsement of a building administrator responsible for the location where grantee is based. Proposals are due on the 1st of the next calendar month. It is then reviewed by the BC Cares Board of Directors. Grant recipients are notified of a decision by the 20th of the full proposal submission month.

If you are interested in sponsoring Innovative Learning Grants, email Ashley at acrowell@bc-cares.org

Buck County Cares Youth Council

A leadership development program

BC Cares is excited to implement a program for the 24-25 school year that will provide an opportunity for high schoolers to learn how to sit on a Board of Directors and become a community organizer. They will facilitate events, and be given the opportunity to create for themselves the goals and outcomes they wish to achieve together.

Currently, the council is planning a fundraising event to benefit Kisses for Kyle, a support foundation for childhood cancer. Learn more by clicking the button below!

MLK Day of Service

A Fresh Start

For many years, CB Cares hosted an MLK Day of Service that provided great opportunities for service projects in Central Bucks County. As we are an organization that is not led by a person of color, our forward action for MLK Day will be to directly support and uplift organizations that are. We will stay invested in Service Projects, but will be directly supporting organizations like The Bucks County Anti-Racism Coalition (https://www.facebook.com/groups/buxcoarc) .
