The event was rescheduled to September 28th after a postponement early this year, and was a success. This is the first event the Council organized all on its own, and succeeded in facilitating all aspects from start to finish for more than two dozen registrants of all ages.
They have proudly raised their entire goal of $700 dollars which will go to Kisses for Kyle, a nonprofit that supports kids battling cancer and their families.
All Council Members involved are returning participants to this program, which is entering its second year of implementation.
As veterans of the Council, their goals this year are to create an executive committee, and participate in interest based modules/committees which will allow them to further develop their passions as community leaders in the making!
The council represents four different schools from Bucks and Montgomery Counties, and we are recruiting several more members for the 25-26 school year. Application information will be available soon, stay tuned!

The Youth Council unanimously decided that CPR/First Aid/AED training would be a valuable learning experience, check out our first group that received their certifications in the 24-25 school year. This training will be extended annually to all members thanks to grants and our partnership with Humble Hearts CPR. Thank you Alyssa!
Prithvi will be studying biology as a pathway to pre-med at the University of Maryland. BC Cares was proud to present her with a scholarship to help offset expenses for school. Congratulations Prithvi!
